A collection of informational and thought-provoking reads as we navigate the pandemic.
Welcome to Coronavirus Reads Digest from Veda.
Hi friends and family!
I’m currently in New Delhi, during the nationwide lockdown of India and its 1.3 billion people (a massive undertaking if there ever was one). I’ve been reading a lot of excellent reporting and accounts on the Covid-19 pandemic, so here I attempt to break through the clutter and do a roundup of what I’ve been reading as we all try to get through this.
I recommend reads from several verified sources, about India, the U.S. and the international community, but a spectrum from more scientific updates, evolving FAQs, Op-Eds, personal essays, data and graphs, photo essays.
The digest was a daily newsletter for the first phase of India’s lockdown, and now comes out on Tuesday, Thursdays and Saturdays.
For those of you just joining, I’m a journalist, based in the US and India. I mostly work on video, documentaries, immersive, and interactive visual storytelling. Formerly of @nytimes.
